Retired police officer wins bid to hold Gaddafi's ex-aide jointly liable for PC's shooting

A retired police officer has won a High Court bid to hold a former aide to Colonel Gaddafi jointly liable for the fatal shooting of PC Yvonne Fletcher.

PC Fletcher was killed while policing a demonstration against the former Libyan leader outside his country's embassy in St James's Square in central London in April 1984.
