The Instructor a 1983 worldwide release low-budget action/adventure feature film written, produced, directed, and co-starring Don Bendell. This film was originally sold and shown in 164 countries worldwide by Shapiro Entertainment Corporation and Vestron Video, Hollywood, CA. All the black belts in the film were real black belts and not professional actors. In fact, nobody on this feature film had any professional film experience, including Don and the original budget was $50,000 which later expanded to less than $100,000. It was the most popular-selling low budget feature at the 1984 Cannes Film Festival.
