Reaching net zero by 2060 is 'probably too late'

Labour's Shadow International Trade Secretary Emily Thornberry says countries haven't really provided plans for how they will reach net zero.

She said: "All that matters in the end is that each country has a plan to get down to net zero in a timely way. Getting there by 2060 is probably too late."

COP26 is not just a "lap of honour", she said, adding: "There needs to be serious work."
