In Okinawa, Naha, I had the amazing opportunity to try the traditional Okinawan costume, a Bingata Kimono. The whole costume is called Ryuso.
I went to the rental shop 'veni', on Kokusai Doori, which I found on Instagram and who's website and SNS links are under this description.
The shop 'veni' is very easy to find, on Kokusai Doori, their staff is very nice, and their prices are also reasonable. You have a lot of different Kimonos and accessories to choose from and you can also get professionally shot photos at their studio. Afterwards you can also go for a short walk on Kokusai Doori.
