On September 19, 2021, at 15:13 local time, an eruption began on the Cumbre Vieja volcanic ridge in the southern part of the island of La Palma. First, one crack began to eject lava and ash from itself, an hour later it was joined by the second. In 10 days, lava flows reached the coast, destroying forests, crops, buildings and roads along the way. Thousands of people were forced to withdraw from their seats when this red-hot river moved to the ocean. And the volcano is not going to calm down yet.
