Fotis Katsikaris, married with two children, is a professional basketball coach. He became involved with this sport at a very young age, since he started playing when he was 8 years old.
After a short break from the courts, during which he studied economics and business administration in California, USA, he returned to Greece where he started his coaching career for AEK BC in 1998. From there he moved to Europe where he coached Dynamo St Petersburg in Russia, followed by Valencia BC and Bilbao BC in Spain.
He has worked as a scouter for the Boston Celtics NBA team for two seasons and has participated as a spokesman in various basketball and entrepreneur clinics all over Europe.
In 2013 he was voted Eurocup Coach of the year by the Euroleague Basketball but what he considers, as his greatest reward, is the multicultural experience he has gained over the last ten years living and working abroad, along with his family.
He is currently the head coach of the national Greek basketball team.
