Boris Johnson and Angela Rayner clashed over energy prices and the wider cost of living in the first prime minister’s questions of the year.

At the end of PMQs, the deputy Labour leader raised a point of order, asking if Johnson 'would like to correct the record', after the prime minister denied saying fears about inflation were unfounded in an October interview with Sky News. Boris Johnson did not respond and did not correct the record.
