"Φωτιά" έχει πάρει το αεροδρόμιο του Στεφανοβίκειου τις τελευταίες ημέρες, καθώς έχουν εντατικοποιηθεί οι εργασίες, που πραγματοποιούνται εκεί, ώστε να προετοιμαστεί ο χώρος, για την υποδοχή και φιλοξενία, των αμερικανικών δυνάμεων, στο πλαίσιο της Atlantic Resolve.
Όπως λοιπόν μπορούμε να δούμε, στις φωτογραφίες που δημοσιοποίησε η Αμερικανική πλευρά, πριν λίγες ημέρες, βρέθηκαν εκεί αξιωματικοί των Ελληνικών και Αμερικανικών δυνάμεων, για να δουν και να επιθεωρήσουν τον χώρο και να σχεδιάσουν από κοινού, τις επόμενες κινήσεις τους.
Μάλιστα, στο συνοδευτικό κείμενο αναφέρεται, ότι ο τσιμεντένιος τάπητας του αεροδιαδρόμου, ολοκληρώθηκε πριν μικρό χρονικό διάστημα, ώστε να είναι έτοιμος για την άφιξη της Αμερικανικής ομάδας ελικοπτέρων.
Επίσης επισημαίνεται ότι ελικόπτερα Απάτσι και Kiowa της Ελληνικής Πολεμικής Αεροπορίας, προετοιμάζονται για να διεξάγουν ασκήσεις με τα Αμερικανικά.
Φυσικά, δεν γνωρίζουμε ακόμα, πόσα ελικόπτερα θα αφιχθούν, αλλά αν κρίνουμε από τις προετοιμασίες, μάλλον θα είναι πολλά σε αριθμό και σίγουρα θα εκνευρίσουν ακόμα περισσότερο την Τουρκική πλευρά, που το τελευταίο χρονικό διάστημα, αδυνατεί να καταλάβει από που τις έρχονται τα απανωτά χτυπήματα που δέχεται.

Stefanovikeio airport is "on fire" in recent days, as the work carried out there has been intensified, in order to prepare the space for the reception and hospitality of the US forces, within the framework of the Atlantic Resolve.
So, as we can see in the photos published by US side, a few days ago, officers of the Hellenic and US forces were there, to see and inspect the area and to jointly plan their next moves.
In fact, the accompanying text states that the concrete pad of the airfield was recently completed, so that to be ready for the arrival of the US team of helicopters.
It is also pointed out that the Apache and Kiowa helicopters of the Hellenic Air Force are preparing to conduct exercises with the US.
Of course, we do not yet know how many helicopters will arrive, but judging by the preparations, they will probably be many and will certainly irritate the Turkish side even more, which lately, has been unable to understand where the blows it receives are coming from.
